The owners of Mr. Hood Clean have been in the power washing industry since 1978. They started in pressure washing company fleet vehicles such as delivery vehicles, trucks, buses, and shuttles. The operation was so successful that they expanded into pressure washing parking garages, sidewalks, shopping centers, and commercial buildings. The kitchen exhaust hood cleaning division, formerly known as Aable Safety Clean, was started in 1994. In 2019, the owners changed the name of the restaurant hood cleaning division to Mr. Hood Clean.
Today, the company has 50+ employees and three divisions. The fleet vehicle cleaning division is known as Mr. Truck Wash, and washes over 20,000 delivery trucks, shuttles, company vehicles per month. The commercial pressure washing division is known as Mr. Pressure Wash, and washes millions of square feet of parking garages, sidewalks, and commercial properties every year. The kitchen hood cleaning division is known as Mr. Hood Clean, where we serve over 1,250 commercial kitchens across Washington State.

We use a cloud-base system that keeps detailed records of every piece of kitchen equipment you own, when the next service is due (which may be different for different pieces of equipment), any system deficiencies or potential hazards noted by the technician, specific instructions from the restaurant owner (from where to park to emergency contacts), quality inspection checklists, and detailed before and after photos. What this means is that our technicians show up on time, do the job correctly, and leave your facility clean when we are done.
In light of COVID-19, we are following the latest CDC guidelines to keep your commercial kitchen safe. All of our work are done after hours to minimize the contact between our technicians and your customers and employees. All of our technicians wear personal protective equipment, including masks and gloves, to minimize the spread of germs. All the client equipment are protected as well. Before we start work, we cover your equipment with plastic tarps. Rest assured that your work area will be left clean and dry by the end of the process.

We communicate with our client every step of the way, and will reach out to the client once the job is finished to ensure client satisfaction. Any problems will be corrected right away, noted in our client file, and incorporated into our next training meeting to ensure the problem does not happen again.
At Mr. Hood Clean, quality is the name of the game. The field supervisor or master field technician will be on-site during the kitchen exhaust hood cleaning job to ensure the cleaning standards are met and the scope definitions followed. A quality control checklist will be filled out along with before and after photos taken. The filled out quality control checklist and before / after photos can be sent at the client’s request. If the client is not totally satisfied for any reason, we will arrange a prompt return visit at no extra cost to make things right.
